Urinary Tract Infections
The parts of your urinary tract are - your kidneys, ureters, bladder, and urethra. An infection in any part of your urinary tract is a urinary tract infection. Women get urinary tract infections more often than men. Infection in your bladder can cause burning with urination, frequent urination, cloudy urine, blood in your urine, and/or pelvic pain. Your urine can be tested in the office to see if an infection is present. This condition is usually treated with antibiotics.
A bladder infection can spread to your kidneys which can be serious, so get your bladder infection treated.
